Actor Billy Crystal was spotted emotionally leaving the home of their longtime friend Rob Reiner hours after the\u00a0famed filmmaker and his wife were found stabbed to death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crystal, 77, was seen at Reiner\u2019s Brentwood home Sunday evening after news broke that he and his wife,\u00a0Michele Singer Reiner, had been killed inside,\u00a0ABC 7\u00a0reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A neighbor told ABC 7 that the Crystals were only at the home briefly and said the \u201cAnalyze This\u201d actor looked like he was about to cry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The neighbor added that \u201cSeinfeld\u201d creator Larry David had also arrived at the home separately and appeared emotional as he left shortly afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crystal starred in Reiner\u2019s 1989 romantic comedy \u201cWhen Harry Met Sally\u2026\u201d and remained close friends with the director throughout their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pair also collaborated on films such as \u201cThis Is Spinal Tap\u201d and \u201cThe Princess Bride.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reiner also famously portrayed a version of himself on David\u2019s hit HBO show \u201cCurb Your Enthusiasm.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene and were identified as Reiner and his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time,\u201d Reiner\u2019s family said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple\u2019s 32-year-old son and screenwriter Nick Reiner is a person of interest in the deadly stabbing, a source told The Post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A knife is believed to have been used in the attack, sources said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a press conference outside the Reiner home, LAPD Detective Chief Alan Hamilton shared that the department was still in the process of obtaining a search warrant for the property \u2014 six hours after 911 was called \u2014 to fully investigate the murders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
